The classic strategy/RPG hybrid is getting a re-release this fall on the Nintendo Switch & PlayStation 4!
NIS America announced today that Disgaea 1 Complete will be releasing on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 sometime this fall – 2018. Both the physical (retail version) and digital versions will be priced at $49.99. The game is scheduled to release in North America, Europe and Japan. The port of Disgaea 1 Complete will feature HD graphics for the first time along with dual voice overs (English and Japanese). According to the Amazon listing for Disgaea 1 Complete – the game’s release date is set for Novemeber 27th, 2018.
In the original Disgaea, players control Prince Laharl as he attempts to conquer the Netherworld. This is not a simple RPG – but rather a very hardcore experience. For instance, your characters can reach level 9,999. There’s also endless adventure in a special area in the game called the “Item World” – which anyone who’s played the original can tell you about the hundreds of hours they spent leveling-up their characters.
